So many things. . .

Today is Friday and my day off. I have the PERFECT job. I work Tues, Wednesday and Thursday. I'm go in at 8:30 and I'm off by 3:30. So I have a long weekend every week. I really love it!! I work for a Chiropractor. Today I am going to spend the day with my mom, sisters,daughters, nieces, and granddaughters. What could be better than that? All of my favorite girls together. We are going to be crafting, eating, and doing lots of laughing!! Can't wait.

Even though it is April, right now it is snowing outside. I am ready for warm weather, but that is what spring is all about in Utah. One day it is warm, the next it is snowing. I did mow my lawn for the 1st time last Saturday. I really get a thrill out of the mow lines in my grass, it's just like vacuum lines, but better because it smells so good too!! Welcome spring, by September I will be tired of mowing the lawn and the heat and will be ready for cooler air, but today I can't WAIT for the warmth. Bring it on!!!

It's been a while

Ya ya ya. . . it's been a while. At least I can say it hasn't been a whole year. I guess Tasha getting a blog and the fun I have reading Briana and Kim's blogs got me thinking, maybe just maybe I should get back in the ring. I am not a clever writer and so I just thought maybe I should hang it up for a while. But for me this is a great way to do my life history without having to sit down and write a life history. It isn't for anybody but me. Read it if you want, if you don't thats fine too.

So here we go again. Lets just not put any pressure on it to be great. It is what it is.

These are the flowers Tasha and Cayden got me from Walmart. They thought it would be funny to get me white carnations and babys breath because I always say that is a grandma arrangement. Really funny kids. But I really did like them and also the Texas Roadhouse giftcard. The best part was them singing along to the SNL Digital Short mothers day song "It would be my honor". Now that is precious. Love you guys!

Cayden's Drama fun

So Cayden performed in his one act play a couple of weeks ago. Each student had to write a 10 minute play and then the kids picked the ones they wanted to perform.

Cayden performed in one about Calvin and Hobbs (the cartoon). It really was hilarious and awesome. His teacher asked them to take it to Regionals. They found out they would have to do it in pantomime form to qualify (yesterday, the day of Regionals), so with only a few minutes to rehearse they performed it three times in front of the judges last night.

Well they must have done OK because they are moving on to the State competition!!!! Cayden is pretty low key about it, that is just his style, but I am awfully proud of him. He really does have a knack for theater and improv. The only sophomores they took were his group. He has no idea when the state competition is so we will see.

Tasha's change of plans

Well it looks like my dad is going to be beaming from ear to ear. Tasha has decided to head south to the promised land and attend BYU instead of Westminster. After much soul searching she has decided she is done with playing soccer and wants to focus on her studies in college.

At first she was sure it was going to be the . . .




BUT after visiting both campuses and lots of conversations she has decided to stay in HAPPY VALLEY!!!





She is hoping to move on campus with her friend Jada. I think that will be a great experience for her, and she will be close enough to come home for dinner, some extra cash, laundry or maybe even a hug from her mommie!

So proud of her, so excited for her, so amazed that she is old enough to go off to college, so freaked out she will be living away from home, so worried about Cayden having to be home alone with the old folks, SO PROUD OF HER!!
